Thanks to the generous support of our community on Giving Tuesday, we are pleased to announce that applications are now open for The HBA Foundation 2026 Virtual Summer Internship.

This program provides young people around the world with early professional experience and insight into careers in healthcare.

About the 2026 Virtual Summer Internship

Our virtual internship provides participants with exposure to several high-growth sectors, including:

• STEAM
• Communications & Social Media
• Digital Advancement
• Finance

What Interns Will Experience

Participants will engage in a variety of professional development modules designed to build a foundation for career success in healthcare:

• Professional Growth: Master classes with healthcare industry professionals, resume writing, and career development workshops.
• Hands-on Learning: Case studies and team projects presented to healthcare industry executives
• Guidance: Mentoring and workshops on interviewing and "telling your story."

Eligibility & Application

• Eligibility: Rising high school juniors through college freshmen are eligible to apply. Participants who successfully complete the program may receive a discretionary stipend.
• Application deadline: 15 April 2026
• Virtual Program Dates: 6 July – 6 August 2026
