Current attitudes towards gender health are often outdated. ‘Women’s issues’ remain under-addressed, minimized, trivialized, inappropriately objectified, and even ignored, leaving individuals bearing multiple burdens and unable to get the support they need. At the same time, in the past few decades, we have seen huge leaps in science, technology and social awareness. We now have the capabilities, resources, and willpower to challenge bias and conventions, break taboos and normalize more open discussion and awareness around gender health. We can use hard data, compelling insights and innovative thinking to change attitudes, beliefs, processes, and systems to improve the lives of women in the workplace and beyond.
