Meet & Match is a member-focused networking initiative designed to strengthen connections within the HBA Barcelona community through meaningful one-to-one interactions.
Participants register in advance and join a scheduled online session hosted on Zoom. During the session, attendees are randomly paired into individual breakout rooms for 15–20 minutes. Each pair uses this time to briefly introduce themselves, and exchange contact information. The objective is not to complete a full networking conversation, but to create the foundation for It is up to the participant to determine whether they wish to continue the connection for a follow-up meeting, scheduling it either online or preferably in person.
The initial format uses randomized matching to encourage broad exposure across the chapter. Over time, the program may evolve to include more curated pairing options. Unlike traditional networking events, Meet & Match emphasizes depth over volume, aiming to help members build familiarity and trust within the community.
