HBA's chapter leaders and committee members are those who create the member experience within their local geography. By working in functional committee, they accomplish the chapter's goals in the areas of:

  • Membership: to engage and orient new members, practice radical hospitality and introduce HBA to Corporate Partner employees
  • Volunteer engagement: to place volunteers in suitable and satisfactory roles, track committee members and recognize outstanding volunteers
  • Marketing and Communications: to market/promote chapter events, communications with members and social media
  • Programming: to develop event content, plan event logistics and secure venues/liaise with sponsor venues during event planning
