The Women of Color Affinity Group is about raising awareness about systemic and multicultural challenges facing women of color regarding advancement in healthcare to ensure inclusivity and gender parity by encouraging personal development, providing knowledge and access to various experiential leadership opportunities within HBA.
This role serves as second-in-command to the Global Women of Color, Chair, to serve as a bridge within HBA and the wider community on the issues of social and racial injustice and as a connector for the future pipeline of women of color in the healthcare industry.
