The Affinity Deputy Chair serves as second-in-command to the Global Affinity Chair and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of strategic priorities, assisting with group operations and strategic planning.
The deputy chair is internally and strategically focused, working to prioritize and implement group priorities into actions and oversee other group leaders. Oversees a robust global/virtual team to execute on the strategic plan and initiatives, ensuring all leadership roles are filled, volunteers are satisfied and engaged.
To be considered for this role the candidate must have served at the chapter/regional/global level as a volunteer leader for the HBA for 2 or more years.
