Each HBA Region is home to an Engagement Center of Excellence (COE), which is responsible for the growth and retention of HBA’s membership base in the region. Their role is to align member and volunteer engagement activities throughout the region’s chapters such as outreach at HBA events, hosting new member orientations, membership retention outreach, and volunteer placement/tracking/recognition. The primary Engagement committees are:
- Engagement Excellence: trains and guides HBA chapters on the processes and strategies determined by the regional Engagement COE.
- Regional Engagement: provides new and expiring member outreach for members in the region who are not aligned to a specific chapter. Administers volunteer award program for the region.
