Each HBA region is home to a marketing Center of Excellence (COE), which is responsible for the alignment and compliance with HBA brand and marketing strategy across the region, traditional and social media; and ensures chapter and regional committees have appropriate training, tools and support for communication and marketing activities.
The primary marketing committees are:
- Marketing and communications excellence: trains and guides HBA chapters on the processes and strategies determined by the regional marketing COE.
- Regional marketing: responsible for marketing and promotion for all regional and HBA flagship events (i.e. mentoring program, affinity group initiatives, Annual Conference); in coordination with HBA Central, designs and implements media strategy in region
- Regional communications: Provides writing/content for regional announcements, news and updates
- Social media/PR: Leverages social media to raise awareness and interest in HBA in the region and to promote local and regional events
